Find out more about the various tools and capabilities integrated in the IMPEXPAGE DOMAIN HOSTING File Manager.
Drag ’n’ drop file uploads
The least complicated way to upload data files
Posting data files with an FTP client is an out–of–date and quite an insecure way of shifting data files from your laptop or computer to a hosting server. For this reason, we have included drag’n’drop file publish support in the File Manager. Just drag the data files that you need to add from your PC into your browser and they’ll start to publish in your web hosting profile over a safe SSL connection.
There is no need to deploy any additional software package, browser plug–ins or apps. The drag & drop feature works just as well on Windows, Linux and Mac.
Right–click context menus
Check out the whole set of available file managing possibilities with merely a click of the mouse
Thanks to the right–click menus we have included in the File Manager, it’s possible to alter your files in a time and effort saving manner. Click on a file or directory and with the panel that will show up, find the actions that you like. You can rename, copy, move, download, edit, preview, archive, unarchive and delete just about any chosen file. Should you click on a folder, you can also see the option to make a completely new sub–folder or file inside.
When you select many different files or directories, you will be able to apply identical actions for all of them simultaneously.
Archive or extract archive files within seconds
Not like most file management interfaces and FTP (File Transfer Protocol) clients, the IMPEXPAGE DOMAIN HOSTING Web Control Panel provides a solution to archive/unarchive files faster. It is easy to use. To have a directory shrunk to a small size, all you need to do is pick it and then click the Compress button. To open up the contents of an archived folder in your web hosting account, select it and then click the Extract button. The File Manager works with numerous file extensions, including .ZIP, .RAR and .TAR.GZ.
